Star Academy returns on October 18 to TF1, with two new teachers

The famous TF1 Tele-Hancho will return to the antenna on October 18, with two new teachers, dance and theater. Charlotte Cardin and Ed Sheeran are sponsoring this season.

The Star Academy, the very popular TF1 song competition, will return to the antenna on October 18, with two new teachers, dance and theater, the chain announced Monday.

The new dance teacher of the candidates will be Jonathan Jenvrin. This choreographer has already appeared on stage with the Anglo -Saxon stars Rihanna, Dua Lipa and Kylie Minogue.

The theater lessons will be provided by the director Alain Degois (Dit Papy), former director of the Decly Théâtre de Trappes in the suburbs of Paris, where Jamel Debbouz had flourished in the early 90s.

Both replace Malika Benjello and Hugues Hamelyck respectively. The other teachers do not change: Sofía Morgavi (song), Ladji Doucoura (Sport), Marlène Schaff (scenario expression), as well as the essays Lucie Bernardoni and Fanny Delaigue. Michael Goldman is still the director.

“It was Kamel Ouali (first dance teacher at the Star Academy, a note of the editor) who discovered me at the age of 12 in Lyon, I have the feeling of a curly loop” by joining the program, said Jonathan Jenvrin at the press conference of the presentation.

Charlotte Cardin and Ed Sheeran

The previous edition of Star AC ‘was won in January by the marine singer. TF1 has not revealed how many candidate students would participate in this new season, whose sponsorship is the Canadian singer Charlotte Cardin and the British Ed Sheeran.

The Star Academy will be scheduled as usual on Saturday at star schedule (early at night). Meanwhile, students stay and repeat in a castle in Sena-Et-Marne, with a daily version of the program every afternoon since October 20.

The bonuses will be available on the TF1+ platform, and the chain continuously broadcasting what is happening with the castle will be visible on TF1+ Premium, a pay version of the platform.

Created in 2001, the Star Academy was relaunched in 2022 by TF1, 14 years after its judgment in 2008. “It was an adventure that began a bit by chance, my life changed,” said his historic presenter, Nikos Aliagas.

According to Rémi Faure, one of the TF1 group programs, 100% of 15-34-year-olds have already seen at least one extract of the Star Academy, on the channel, the platform or social networks.
