In 1995, the Tatiana Andujar teenager, 17, disappeared near the Perpiñán station. In 1997 and 1998, two other young people of twenty-seasons or almost, Mokhario Chaïb and Marie-Hélène González, were found dead, naked and dissected in the same neighborhood of Perpiñán. His genitals were mutilated. Then, in 2001, Fatima Idrahou, 23, was kidnapped in the same area.
The police first focuses on the track of a serial murderer who locks the city, then turns back, changes tone and focuses on that of several murderers. It is the tragic story of these four women in the mid -90s and the subsequent search of the murderer that inspired the miniseries of six episodes.
Produced by the team of HPI EITHER Oussekine, the missing station It is available on Wednesday at Disney+. In the casting we find Camille Razat, seen in Emily in ParisHugo Becker, Mélanie Doutey, Patrick Times, Kevin Azaïs and Théo Cholbi.
Two different murderers
This extraordinary research, which extended for several decades, advanced for a long time vaguely and sometimes in the wrong direction, finally progressed thanks to technological advances related to DNA. To date, three murders have been clarified, which involve two different murderers, and another, that of Tatiana Andújar, still does not resolve. The young woman was last seen on September 24, 1995.
In the writing of fiction, the family of the deceased, whose mother, Marie-José García, interprets Mélanie Doutey also participated. “Marie-José collaborated in this series because she wants us to continue talking about her daughter, says the actress to Franceinfo. The investigation is not resolved, so it is a way of making people speak of this story because she is still waiting for answers. He is going through something we don’t want to anyone. He really wanted to live up to her.”
The first clarified murder is the most recent, that of Fatima Idrahou. Fourteen days after the disappearance of this Darty cashier, Marc Delpech, owner of a bar of Perpignan, married and father of a child, was arrested at his in -laws’ house. He ends up confessing the murder and wields a reason: the young woman did not give in to her insinuations. His body was then found 500 meters from Marc Delpech’s house, near a pond.
In 2004, the man was sentenced to thirty years in criminal prison, including twenty years of preventive penalty, for kidnapping, violation and murder. Although certain elements of the file could make the investigators believe that he was also behind the other three kidnappings (at his home press cuts were found on this news), the premises of a police novel that he wrote and titled Tatianathat their disappearance recounts in particular, they were found on their computer …), it was not prosecuted for these crimes. Eighteen years later, in 2022, his sentence served, he leaves prison.
Technological advances
Then the investigation stagnated. It was not until 2014 that the murderer of Mokharia Chaïb was identified. These are Jacques Rançon, 54, a lifting truck driver and father of four children. At that time, he had already been sentenced several times for sexual assault, violence and death threats against the mother of his last two children. He even received eight years in prison for rape. After forty -eight hours in police custody, he confessed the murder of Mokharia Chaïb.
A year later, thanks to the technological advances related to DNA – whose technique is now applicable to poor tests in cells – Jacques Rançon becomes the main suspect in the death of Marie -Hélène González. The man first denies, then admits the attempted murder of another young woman, in 1998, then admits the murder of the twenty -year -old girl in 1998. In 2018, he was sentenced to life imprisonment, with a 22 -year security period.
Therefore, today the investigation continues to find the trail of Tatiana Andújar. Last September, the unresolved case unit of the Nanterre Prosecutor’s Office launched a new calls.
