The American singer, 79, recently canceled six concerts she was due to give in December in Las Vegas, postponing them until September 2026. A decision that generated rumors about her state of health, which she wanted to silence by publishing a video that shows her at work, smiling and well made up, filming advertisements in front of a green screen.

“Do you think I look sick? I work hard here,” she says in this video where she writes in the caption: “I’m not dead yet!” He added: “There are a lot of rumors going around, so I thought if you heard it from me in person, you would know that I’m fine. I don’t think God is done with me and I’m not done working.”

On Tuesday, her sister Freida Parton added to fans’ fears by asking for prayers for her. “I truly believe in the power of prayer and felt moved to ask everyone who loves her in the world to be prayer warriors and pray with me,” she said on Facebook, confiding that she “spent all night praying for (her) sister.”
