After the sunny beaches of Brice of NiceFrench filmmaker James Huth explores the magical world of Christmas. This Thursday, its distributor SND unveils the first trailer for its new feature film, called Chasing Santa Claus, with Patrick Timsit, Isabelle Nanty, Antoine Gouy, Eugénie Anselin and Théa de Boeck.
The family comedy tells the story of Zoé, a seven-year-old girl, tired of Timothée making her life difficult. To get revenge, he asks Santa Claus, played by the transformed Patrick Timsit, for a compressed air blowgun to destroy his enemy’s favorite toy. The problem is that the gift he receives under the tree is not what he expected. Zoé then sets out to find the man from the North Pole so he can make amends for his mistake.
James Huth became known to the general public in 2005 with Brice of Nicebased on the character created by Jean Dujardin. He later had the actor appear in two of his other films, Lucky Luke (2009) and Brice 3 (2016).
After The new toy in 2022, adaptation of the cult comedy the toy by Francis Veber, the director returns with Chasing Santa Claus, in theaters December 10.
