Noémie Lefort was twenty years old when she flew to New York to meet her idol Julia Roberts and give her a script she had written. Twenty years later, she tells her story in the film my heroinewhose trailer has just been unveiled this Thursday.
The story begins in Rouen. Alex (Chloé Jouannet), a young woman dreams of becoming a director. Rejected by a prestigious New York film school, she decides to go to New York with the help of her eccentric aunt Juliette (Louise Coldefy) for a crazy project: give her script to Julia Roberts.
But Mathilde (Pascale Arbillot), Alex’s mother, quickly bonds with the two women. And this New York adventure will mark the beginning of a new stage in the lives of the three women and will bring them closer than ever. Premiere scheduled for December 14.
