What’s coming to Disney+ in December 2022

2022 is almost over and that means we have one last month of Disney+ content to enjoy before the new year. It’s been a bumpy year, with some months bringing in a lot of new content and other months looking like they’ve scraped the bottom of the barrel. The quality of the original shows has been good, but the volume of content missing from the Disney library remains significant. But overall, a Disney+ membership is worth having.

Star Wars and Marvel have had their share this year, so when it comes to Disney+ original series, the year will wrap up with the sequel series to Lucasfilm’s classic. Willow and a new sequel series to the popular National treasure. And of course, since it’s Christmas, we’ll be seeing some new Christmas content, including a Pentatonix music special and (found in the extras section) a cover of A Christmas Carol by the Muppets which includes the famous cut song. Here’s everything else coming in December.

Lisette Olivera in National Treasure: At the Edge of History

The Willow Yes National treasure The series will continue through December and into the new year. The second half of the month will feature interesting content for music fans. If these walls could sing it’s a disney+ (opens in a new tab) original special that will trace the history of the iconic Abbey Road Studio. Just after Christmas, we’ll see a special airing at the Hollywood Bowl celebrating the music of Charmnearly a year after the film hit the streaming service and took the world by storm.

Once 2022 is over, eyes will turn to 2023 and another year on Disney+. We know something of what the year will bring, there will be new Marvel series and the return of fan favorites. the Mandalorian. Beyond that, there are always surprises, so time will tell what the future holds.
