the good doctorfollows the first episode his big step it was thrilling almost from start to finish, with the characters split into different teams to try and save the lives of the six sextuplets who were delivered way ahead of ideal. During, avoid Yes Grass she received heartbreaking news about her ability to conceive just when they were ready to start trying for pregnancy after her miscarriage in season 4 . For his part, morgan don’t waste time his decision in episode 100 and are actively working on having their own baby, e the good doctor she’s been avoiding the most obvious move for her…until now.
Morgan used her breaks between caring for one of the sextuplets to screen for potential sperm donors to father her future child. Sure, he was paired with To park throughout the episode, as the kid she was babysitting was his twin, and they had no choice but to work together despite the post-breakup awkwardness that has yet to go away. When she accused her of tindering, she told him what she was really up to and he didn’t begin to really praise her.
After some back and forth about whether she would be able to find the right man if she had a baby first, which Morgan rightfully dismissed as an argument, emphasizing factors about someone who might not know a sperm donor profile, was offered to donate her unconditionally. As a seasoned viewer, I could already imagine the story of how they would discover A LOT of bonding after she agreed, followed by rekindled feelings during the pregnancy, and the two would fall in love all over again in time for the baby to be born.
Alternatively, there was a less faerie version that could play out predictably if she accepted and tried to get pregnant with his child. Regardless of the outcome, it didn’t even take me until the commercial break to convince myself that she would take her offer up, and that would be their shared story for the rest of the season.
So it was a pleasant surprise when Morgan decided she couldn’t accept his offer to donate sperm just to make sure she personally knew the man who would provide half of her son’s genes. He said it would have hurt too much if he had looked at his son and seen it, and he clarified that he understood and told.
Of course, there are still feelings on both sides, but the good doctor it doesn’t follow the obvious path of creating a child together or getting back together after considering how they still feel about each other. In fact, she agreed to help her find criteria to narrow down her list of potential sperm donors to find the right man.
the good doctor seemingly moving forward with Morgan actively trying to have a child and avoiding the foreseeable pitfalls up to that point he doesn’t seem to know what to do with her at the beginning of the series.
