Black Panther: Wakanda Forever allowed fans to celebrate and mourn Chadwick Boseman more than two years after his untimely passing. The release of the sequel unexpectedly coincided with a special moment for those who loved Boseman as a performer and as a person. Nov. 29 was the late actor’s 46th birthday, and fans, friends, and family members gathered online to celebrate the special day as they do every year. Sweet tributes have come from Marvel stars Sebastian Stan, Michael B. Jordan and more in the latest black Panther stellar birthday.

This year, Boseman’s birthday coincided with the tradition of Giving Tuesday, which encourages people to give back to their community in any way they can. Many non-profit organizations benefit from the charity day as they receive funds to help them in their missions. One such organization was the Chadwick Boseman Foundation for the Arts, founded by his family, including his widow, Taylor Ledward Boseman.
