Less than a week after the release of the Christmas special, Guardians of the Galaxy Christmas Special On Disney+, Marvel presents the first trailer for Guardians of the Galaxy 3 this Thursday.
Expected in France on May 3, 2023, this third and final installment of the franchise will end the adventures of the merry band of space vigilantes led by Star-Lord (Chris Pratt), led by James Gunn since 2014.
A dark and moving part
Yes from the first images Guardians of the Galaxy 3 promises to be just as crazy as the first two, the trailer however suggests a much darker and emotionally rich film with clashes, tears and blood.
The trailer also features footage of Rocket the raccoon as a baby, whose story will be one of the guidelines for the film, according to James Gunn.
Last July, the filmmaker presented the first images of this third installment at the San Diego Comic-Con, under the emotional gaze of actors Chris Pratt, Karen Gillan and Pom Klementieff.
“I am sorry. Some stories have an ending. But that doesn’t mean they all die in the end,” James Gunn said during this presentation.
Two new actors have joined the team for this latest film from Guardians of the Galaxy: Will Poulter will play Adam Warlock and Maria Balakova will voice the dog Cosmo.
