Wes Anderson will be back in theaters this summer. After The French office in 2021, the filmmaker announced the premiere of his new film, asteroid cityon sale June 23, 2023 in US theaters.
Filmed in Spain, this romantic comedy-drama is set in the 1950s and tells the story of a fictional, deserted American town where a Junior Stargazer/Space Cadet convention takes place.

On the launch side, asteroid city brings together a large number of stars: Tom Hanks, Margot Robbie, Scarlett Johansson, Bryan Cranston, Edward Norton Adrien Brody, Tilda Swinton, Jason Schwartzman, Steve Carell, Willem Dafoe, Jeff Goldblum and Matt Dillon. This is the largest cast of any Wes Anderson film.
