Cul-de-Sac just a click away. On the occasion of the tenth anniversary of the theatrical release of hobbit: an unexpected journey Airbnb has added an ad that will delight fans of the JRR Tolkien universe.
In fact, it will be possible in March 2023 to be able to spend a few nights with a maximum of four people per stay at the Condado filming location. The decoration, used during the trilogy of Lord of the Rings and the one of Hobbitit is particularly popular with tourists in New Zealand.
Opening of reservations on December 13
Only three rooms will be put up for sale. Those lucky enough to get a date can stay at the Hobbiton Mill, located not far from the Green Dragon Inn, much appreciated by our half-man friends from the movies. It will also offer its visitors a banquet. They will also have the opportunity to visit the fictional village and have private access to a hobbit “hole”, these houses with round doors built into the ground and into the hills.
Warning, however, to those interested: the price is not yet known and reservations will open on December 13 at 22:00 French time sharp. And there are likely many, many people at the time on the platform who shared this future announcement on various of their social media accounts. Airbnb even warns fans of Middle-earth: “First come, first served!”
