As fans watched the latest Netflix series Wednesdayimmersed in the gothic world of Nevermore Academy, falling in love with the characters, wednesday gothic dresses and Jenna Ortega’s viral dance moves . Many took to social media while watching the show to give their thoughts on the Addams Family spinoff, and then things got really ugly after the explosive finale, and we’ve rounded up some of the best.

One of the main talking points was the reveal of the big bad at the end of the season. I don’t know about you, but I certainly didn’t expect Tyler to be Hyde. I was really shocked by this revelation, and so were many other viewers. In the finale, we see the two interact and Tyler claims he gave “signs” on Wednesday, but I sure didn’t get to see them. I think @pensandoenjenna captured this feeling of confusion perfectly by tweeting:

While we’re talking about Hyde, let’s talk about Wednesday and Tyler’s relationship. In the penultimate episode, the two had a cute and engaging moment Revenge of a blonde (to which Resse Witherspoon hilariously reacted) , then, by the end of the episode, it was clear that Wednesday had sadly been being used by the bartender all this time. after Tik Tok, Erika Chi I posted what I think a lot of us were thinking during the finale, check it out:

On a healthier note, the other moment fans were obsessed with was when Enid gave a hug on Wednesday. Their friendship is adorable and fans really like roommates so seeing them have that sweet end-of-season moment was hugely meaningful. @luvsicktheorist She highlighted how layered that moment was in the finale, posting:

Other fans focused on how Wednesday managed to keep her sense of humor, even as she was beaten and bruised. For instance, emergency on TikTok he published an article about the fantastic prank of the Addams daughter during her confrontation with Professor Thronhill:
