Tina Turner has lost her son, Ronnie, who died on Thursday at the age of 62. The musician, married to former reality contestant Afida Turner, died at his Los Angeles home.
“Ronnie, you left this world too soon. I sadly close my eyes and think of you, my beloved son,” the singer posted on Instagram.

Ronnie Turner was the only child of Ike and Tina Turner. Ike Turner, a violent and abusive husband, died in 2007 of a cocaine overdose. The singer also had a son, born from her union with saxophonist Raymond Hill, Craig, who committed suicide in 2018. Tina Turner also raised Ike Turner’s two sons, Ike Jr and Michael.
Now retired to Switzerland, where she lives with her husband Erwin Bach, the 83-year-old singer has experienced serious health problems in recent years.
