Once Babylon is out, the epic period drama received mixed reactions . Twitter users rated the first half of the film as epic with much praise for Margot Robbie and Damien Chazelle. But others thought it was too much of a mess. The film currently has 76% on Rotten Tomatoes with critics praising the cast, cinematography and overall look of the film but criticizing the overworked characters and plot. A movie like this may not be meant to be taken seriously, but it’s simply meant to be a fun and memorable journey.
