Although the white lotus Being an Emmy-winning series, its stars are still so normal and sometimes even fangirls. Haley Lu Richardson, who is part of the cast of the second season of the white lotus, She recently had one of those moments where she FaceTimed Nick Jonas, and it was wholesome and hilarious.
During the promotion of season 2 of the white lotus in The Late Late Show with James Corden, Haley Lu Richardson, who plays Portia in the HBO anthology series, has been transported back in time. Corden took a very cute photo of herself with the Jonas Brothers at the peak of their careers about 15 years ago, and Richardson couldn’t help but share that she was definitely a Nick girl.
Richardson recounted how he drew on Nick Jonas when he was in an even run but security had to catch him out of fear he was dangerous. Then James Corden was able to reach out to Jonas on a video call, and the way the actress reacted was so sweet and wholesome and full of profanity, check out:
It’s always great to see stars fangirl and dazzle with other stars, but it’s even more special when it’s a childhood dream come true. As Haley Lu Richardson tried to calm down, she told Jonas how much he meant to her and I don’t think I ever wanted to be anyone else. Not only that, but Jonas also mentioned that he just finished watching the white lotusso he was also a fan of hers.
If Haley Lu Richardson can keep her cool, maybe she and Nick Jonas could star in a movie together? Or maybe she can be animated so they don’t necessarily show up during production, but Richardson can still say she worked with the celebrity she loved. Either way, working with Jonas is most likely on your bucket list, but even if it doesn’t happen, having a video call with him is a great alternative.
Meanwhile, it’s not surprising to learn about it the white lotus has been renewed for a third season, as the anthology series has been a big hit. Not much is known about the upcoming season, but being an anthology, there will be a mostly new cast, namely Haley Lu Richardson and co. probably won’t be back. Though you can still see them return to the HBO show in the future. Who knows, maybe Nick Jonas could join the third season of the white lotus, Even if it seems like a gamble, it’s not impossible at all.
