He knew how to conquer the public but also the jury. Sacred Miss France 2023 this Saturday, Indira Ampiot was unanimous in the voting, as demonstrated by the results of the competition, shared by the usher of the Master Simonin show.
According to this table that lists the points awarded by the public and the seven judges to the 15 shortlisted regional candidates and then to the 5 finalists, Miss Guadalupe ranks first in the voting for each round.
During the first selection, the 18-year-old received 15 points from the public and 15 points from the public, or 30 points in total, finishing at the top of the ranking just ahead of Miss Nord-Pas-de-Calais, Agathe Cauet ( 27 points) and Miss Auvergne, Alissia Ladeveze (23 points).
Then, during the second round of voting, Indira Ampiot received 5 points from the public and the jury, again placing her ahead of the 1st runner-up, Miss Nord-Pas-de-Calais, and the 2nd runner-up, Miss Franche-Comté.
Support for women with cancer
At just 18 years old, Indira Ampiot succeeds Diane Leyre as Miss France. Communication student, her father is a digital manager and her mother works for Social Security.
During her presentation during the competition, the young woman confided her desire to dedicate her tenure to supporting women with cancer and dedicated her victory to her grandmother, who recently passed away from cancer.
Indira Ampiot is the fourth Guadeloupean to become Miss France, after Véronique De La Cruz (1993), Corinne Coman (2003) and Clémence Bottino (2020). The 18-year-old girl who succeeds Diane Leyre in her title must now leave her native island to fulfill her new duties that will take her from one side of France to the other.
