Qatar World Cup: Vegedream reveals a passage from his anthem planned in case of victory for the Blues

Four years after “Bring the cup home”, the singer had planned a new title in case of victory for the Blues in Doha. Will she get it out, despite the loss?

French fans did not lose a league title on Sunday night when the French soccer team lost to Argentina in the World Cup final. The Vegedream singer revealed on Monday that he had recorded a paean to Blues glory in the event of victory in Doha.

The one who had signed the tube. take home the cup in 2018, an ode to the French team that had won the World Cup that year, unveiled a short excerpt of this new song on Snapchat… suggesting it might be released regardless.

“The ‘Upamecanoooo’ is already in my head”

This short video, widely disseminated on social networks and disseminated by the huffington postIt shows the singer surrounded by his team in what looks like a home studio as the title plays. In the excerpts, we clearly hear the names of two of Didier Deschamps’s team players, Dayot Upamecano and Antoine Griezmann.

As if to pique curiosity, Vegedream posted on Instagram on Monday a brief written exchange with Antoine Griezmann, obviously dating from before the final. The singer had simply sent him three emojis. What to imply that a song existed, and that it would be enough victory for it to come out.

“The environment is us and nobody else!” Writes the artist in the legend in light of the defeat. “We’ll be back!”

Everywhere from the comments to Twitter, fans are asking him to post the song despite the loss. “You have to release the sound Vegedream, the ‘Upamecanoooo’ is already in my head”, “Turn off the sound please, the morale of the French depends on it”, “Turn it off anyway Vege, we want to console ourselves that for Christmas at less”, we can read in particular.

Pleas that Vegedream seems quite inclined to accede to…as he broadcasts them himself on his own Instagram story. In particular, he shared a video recorded by the singer Keen’V, who joins the French fans:

“Please, take the sound out anyway,” asks the interpreter of ‘Outété’ in her story. “We lost but we had a great World Cup, we want to sing their names!”

The future will tell if the song will come out of Vegedream’s studio… and if it will have the same success as take home the cup. This title and its intoxicating chorus, from which no one could escape in the summer of 2018 after the victory of the Blues in the final in Russia, have become the official anthem of this World Cup. The song had been certified a diamond single within a few months.
