Jeff Panacloc arrives at the cinema. The comedian will be the hero of a comedy by Pierre-François Martin-Laval (The teachers, gaston lagaffe). The release date is currently scheduled for December 20, 2023, according to Allociné.
Jeff Panacloc will play his own role there, and will share the bill with his puppet Jean-Marc and Nicolas Marié, Albert Dupontel’s favorite actor, ceased for goodbye idiots in 2021. A first teaser and poster were released Tuesday.
According to the first synopsis, available on the Allociné site, “this film describes the encounter between Jeff Panacloc and his puppet Jean-Marc who is alive.” This family comedy will have a budget of 9.8 million euros.
“A true technical feat”
“We romanticized our meeting,” the comedian had specified on RTL at the beginning of the year. “We tried to imagine a true road movie. It is the first puppet film made in France.” On the screen, Jean-Marc will not be in 3D, but in a real puppet.
“He evolves on the sets and outside of me,” she added. “He’s not at the end of my arm. It’s a real technical feat. It was a real pain in the ass to make Jean-Marc exist on every level. I’m quite in awe.”
For Jeff Panacloc, the result will surprise the public: “It’s a comedy in our vein, also in Pef’s vein, which has a romantic and emotional side. It takes us to another universe.”
