Actor Chris Hemsworth is an extremely bankable star, with countless fans thanks to his role as Thor in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. But he is also the head of another franchise: that of Netflix. Extraction. Fans can’t wait to see him reprise his role as Tyler Rake in the upcoming sequel, which should be coming for those with a Netflix subscription sometime in the new year. And Hemsworth recently explained why. Extraction 2The action included some of the most “grueling” fight scenes he had ever filmed. Given his filmography, that really means something.
The first Extraction The film came to Netflix in 2020 and became one of the streaming service. most successful original film titles Sam Hargrave’s thriller featured some really fast action sequences, which demanded that Chris Hemsworth be robbed and constantly learning new fight choreography while filming other scenes. The actor/producer recently spoke with uh about the upcoming sequel, saying it was “the most detailed and grueling combat training I’ve ever faced”. He was also quoted for his enthusiasm for the results, saying:
We went to look for the moon. In a very crowded action world, I think we have done something very unique.
Well, that’s certainly intriguing. It’s almost hard to imagine how the action of ExtractionThe sequel will be better than its predecessor, in which Chris Hemsworth’s character accomplished his mission largely on his own. but maybe near-death experience at the end of the film it will inspire you to be even tougher on your next adventure.
It seems that everyone is involved Extraction 2 sought to push the film’s action even further, while creating thrilling sequences that stood out from the myriad others fans are used to seeing on screens big and small. He didn’t reveal exactly what to expect, but the new setup will certainly help bring something new to Tyler Rake’s fight series.
Later in that same interview, Chris Hemsworth compared the work he’s done in the Extraction franchise of his various Marvel fights as Thor Odinson . While the MCU required visual effects, things feel much more visceral and palpable in the Netflix series. as she said,
There is something so satisfying about that. Not detracting from the kind of Marvel movie with a lot of special effects, but you get a lot of help in post there. Obviously I can’t fly, so they help me with that. While in this film the action is rooted in reality and much of it is filmed. So it’s a different energy and the preparation is much more advanced.
That kind of rapid camera movement and choreography certainly paid off in the former. Extraction movies, and that’s a big part of why it’s become so popular on Netflix. There will be high expectations for the sequel, but it certainly seems like those involved with the film will be swinging hard to pass them . Now the question is: when Extraction 2 finally released?
