The DC Extended Universe is going through big changes, thanks to the new roles of Peter Safran and James Gunn as co-CEO. They are currently working out a new direction for the shared universe, which should be more cohesive than it has been in recent years. One of the shocking new decisions came with the news that Henry Cavill wouldn’t be returning as Superman after all. But apparently there are plans for a new Man of Steel actor and some fan art from DC ve Euphoria star Jacob Elordi replaces Cavill in that role.
Following Henry Cavill’s departure when Superman became official, James Gunn clarified on Twitter that it’s still of great importance that the character is included in the DCEU. As such, fans are wondering who could take over and there are already a number of popular theories circulating online. And with Henry Cavill officially as Superman, smart money says we’ll see more fan art of various actors don the hero’s signature cape.
As mentioned above, Jacob Elordi is an actor known for his portrayal of Nate Jacobs on HBO Euphoria . He is arguably the show’s biggest antagonist, known for his truly evil deeds, especially in the first season. Playing the sane and hopeful Superman would certainly show some variety, even if he’s young enough for the role at age 25. Even so, he could totally sport that curly q that comes with the signature Man of Steel hairstyle.
Henry Cavill’s departure from the role of Superman definitely surprised the audience. the Wizard actor had recently confirmed his return as a Supes, after appearing in a black adam cameo against Dwayne Johnson. James Gunn and Peter Safran were the subjected to a violent reaction consequently, that Gunn recently submitted online .
