Even if co-parenting seems to be going well, it will undoubtedly be difficult to split the holidays. Brady recently opened up about how he’s been feeling during the holiday season, which also happens to be the first time he’ll play soccer at Christmas instead of being with his family.
in an episode of Keep on! (opens in a new tab) Brady’s podcast talked about spending his first Christmas as a divorced father and the struggles of being a professional soccer player during the holidays. Jim Gray, co-host of the podcast, noted that Brady had never played football at Christmas and that this year the quarterback would spend Christmas Eve in a hotel room and play a game on December 25th. Captain Buccaneer then spoke about this year’s holiday season and how he’s coping with it, saying:
It will be a new experience that I have never had and that I will have to learn to manage. And I think that’s life. So you just asked a question, ‘What have you learned from this football season?’ I will learn to manage Christmas Eve at the hotel. I’m going to have to learn how to deal with Christmas and Christmas night and still go out and be a pro and then look forward to celebrating Christmas with my kids the next day which is part of what football season has been for always from time .time. long.
Brady and the Buccaneers are scheduled to face the Arizona Cardinals Sunday night, Dec. 25, which means the quarterback probably won’t see his sons in person until the next day. He’s noticed that performing at the big party is part of the job and that he’ll be back with his family on Boxing Day. He also explained that playing on vacation is one of the challenges that he will have to face and learn.

Her ex has the kids for Thanksgiving and gets them for Christmas. She also talked about how she became more manageable over the years and eventually learned to enjoy her “me time” of hers.
For Brady, it seems that due to this year’s NFL schedule, he didn’t get to spend the holidays with his kids, but he was with them for the next few days.
