It’s the time of year for celebrities participating in the age old tradition of Elf on the Shelf and showcases Christmas trees of all shapes, sizes, and lighting colors. In the case of the Kardashian and Jenner clan, size matters. In fact, Kylie Jenner and her stepsister Kim Kardashian have incredibly tall trees this year.
I don’t know if Kylie Jenner and Kim Kardashian were trying to outdo each other with their trees or if they just adore big trees (and they can’t lie), but the results are impressive. In fact, it’s a stark reminder that sometimes billionaires like Kim and Kylie aren’t like us. It’s the season to show off a bit.
Kylie Jenner’s Really Huge Tree
Kylie Jenner showed off her lobby Christmas tree for the first time a few weeks ago, showing the process of setting up the tree up to the second-floor ceiling and removing the matching ornaments. It is truly one of the largest home trees she has ever seen and has attracted the attention of many on Instagram who have either called the tree “too good” or used it as a reference for their own personal “goals”.
However, there have also been sarcastic responses to the big beautiful tree, with one commenter on the matter instagram noting, “The tree probably costs more than my student loans.” A second commenter on Twitter was also particularly funny, writing, “Kylie Jenner’s Christmas tree just called us spoiled.”
She wasn’t the only Kris Jenner girl going all out for her tree this year. In fact, her neutral-toned, minimalist older half-sister Kim Kardashian also shared her giant AF Christmas tree. Oh yeah, and Kim had a great bathroom too.
Kim Kardashian’s Huge Christmas Tree (And Multi-Tree Bathroom Setup)
Not to be outdone, Kim Kardashian has her own massive Christmas tree in the Hidden Hills home she kept after her divorce from Kanye West. Of course, she’s also housed in her giant house in her massive living space, so the elaborate tree doesn’t fill up the space like Kylie does. However, just look at the size of this tree next to her equally grand piano. Is very large!
As a sidebar, you’ll likely see someone playing the piano in the photo as well. That’s because the tree isn’t the only thing Kim is doing this holiday season to bring in a little extra magic. In fact, she has hired a pianist to wake her children up “every morning” during the Christmas season.
I don’t think I’m bored saying obviously Kim K has white lights on her tree in her white living room. It certainly has its domestic aesthetic reduced to a science. Meanwhile, while Kylie and Kim showed off their suction shafts, Kim also has a cute setup in her bathroom. The mother of four can relax in her bathtub and enjoy the holiday spectacle at the same time. As her former best friend Paris Hilton would say, “it’s living.”
The Christmas tree wall also offers some privacy in your master bathroom. In her stories, Kim talked about typical plants located outside the windows, but the Christmas tree display seems especially magical. It’s a shame that Christmas lights aren’t trendy every month of the year.
Kourtney and Travis Barker also have a brand tree
While not as giant as her siblings’ trees, Kourtney Kardashian’s new husband, Travis Barker, also shared a post featuring his spooky vacation arrangement. Halloween is really Kourtney and Travis’ big holiday, but I appreciate the effort they’ve made here to stay true to their aesthetic.
