Knock At The Cabin trailer reveals an apocalyptic twist in M. Night Shyamalan’s new film

The holiday season is usually a time for family fun and relaxation… and on that note, there aren’t any big holiday vibes in M. Night Shyamalan’s latest trailer. call the booth (despite the December 25th release date). Instead, audiences glimpse a film about a family vacation in nature that goes very, very wrong and appears to have potential apocalyptic consequences.

Our first look at call the booth came out in September, and while this footage teased a home invasion premise, this one goes much deeper into revealing what the film is all about. Like most of Shyamalan’s films, this one has a twist and speaks to potential global devastation.

Adapted from the novel. The cabin at the end of the world by author Paul G. Tremblay (although you wouldn’t know by looking at the poster), call the booth centers on a family, played by Jonathan Groff, Ben Aldridge and Kristen Cui, who spend their holidays in a remote cabin disrupted by a group of home invaders. Without being outwardly violent, these strangers inform both parents and child that one of them must be sacrificed to prevent the apocalypse.

The excellent cast assembled for call the booth also includes Dave Bautista, Rupert Grint (star of the series produced by M. Night Shyamalan Waiter on Apple TV+), Nikk Amuka-Bird and Abby Quinn.

This new trailer seems to show a good portion of the upcoming 2023 movie, and it sounds like a spoiler… but I sincerely hope that’s not the case. The marketing of M. Night Shyamalan’s movies is usually pretty good at protecting the biggest secrets of the big screen experience, so we can’t completely rule out the possibility that what’s being shown here is at least a partial mistake. But maybe I think more with my heart than with my head.

We will know the truth when the film hits theaters, which is actually very soon. The public will have to go through the month of January, but call the booth awaits us on the other side, scheduled for the big screen on February 3, 2023.

From what we’ve seen recently, the new year should end with some great entertainment on the big screen. Not only do we get this latest extended look from M. Night Shyamalan, but we’ve also recently seen the Spider-Man: Across the Universe trailer, preview Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning, part 1a first look at Christopher Nolan openheimerand a killer first look cry VI. It looks like 2023 will be a treat for moviegoers, so be sure to stay tuned to Gossipify next year.
