Jeremy Renner has reportedly received “excellent care” following a “traumatic” weather incident.

Marvel star Jeremy Renner, known for playing archer ace Clint “Hawkeye” Barton in the MCU, is currently in “critical but stable condition” in a Nevada hospital following what is being described as an accident caused by a meteorological snowplow on New Year’s Eve. The Jeremy Renner incident started hitting the press on January 1st. He is believed to be the only person involved in the weather incident and appears to have shoveled snow near his Nevada home outside of Reno.

Full details of the incident are still being shared, but Terme has learned that the actor is surrounded by family and is “receiving excellent care,” which is the good news his fans have been hoping to hear. In Press release , the Washoe County Sheriff’s Office said it arrived at the crash site at 9:00 a.m. Jan. 1 and coordinated with local authorities to “arrange medical transportation for Mr. Jeremy Renner via a flight doctor to a local hospital”. Authorities were still investigating the specific details of the crash.

Jeremy Renner grew up in Modesto, California and discovered the Reno and Lake Tahoe area on family vacations and ski trips. The actor is known for volunteering in and around Reno, and he also told the Reno Gazette Journal in 2019:

Any fan who has watched the Marvel movies in order I could tell you that Jeremy Renner has been an integral part of the fabric of the MCU from the beginning. If Tony Stark and Iron Man launched the universe, the thor let audiences know that there was greater things in the cards, and Renner’s character Hawkeye first appeared in that 2011 film. Which means he’s been a part of the growing Marvel Cinematic Universe for more than a decade. So we wouldn’t be surprised if he was a part of the upcoming Marvel TV shows or film in stages 5 and 6.

It seems that the Hawkeye baton has passed to Kate Bishop (Hailee Steinfeld). The end of Hawk eye TV shows available to the public with a Disney+ subscription . And there’s no doubt that Steinfeld will be the character’s future. But as long as Renner is willing to don the suit and pull the bow, you can bet Marvel Studios will be eager to put it on, especially as the multiverse expands.
