Star Wars: The Bad Batch’s Michelle Ang Talks Omega’s Evolution And Clone Force 99 Relationship She “Liked” In Season 2

The voice you will hear most often Star Wars: The Bad Lot is by Dee Bradley Baker, because just like in Star wars the battle of the clones Yes star wars rebels, voices all of Jango Fett’s adult male clones, including Hunter, Tech, Wrecker (toughest of the bunch for him), Echo, and Crosshair. And there’s Omega, Jango’s only female clone, who is voiced by Michelle Ang and has been traveling the galaxy with Batch since the season 1 premiere. bad luck Season 2 now running on Disney+, Ang reviewed the evolution of Gossipify Omega in this new series of episodes (pun intended), as well as the Clone Force 99 relationship which he particularly “enjoyed” this time around.

I was able to talk to Michelle Ang before Star Wars: The Bad Lot Season 2 was created for Disney+ subscribers, and I started our conversation by asking him what was the biggest difference between Omega Season 1 and the one we’re watching right now. In addition to addressing the obvious physical changes, Ang touched on the character’s increased prowess on the court, as well as how Season 2 sees Omega grow emotionally. The actress explained:

I think the obvious thing from the outset is that it’s been a while. He’s a little older, it shows physically in his obviously longer hair, and he’s grown up quite a bit. And emotionally, he feels very comfortable with her and enjoys participating in these bounty missions. She calls it fun when their lives are in a little bit of danger and they have to escape. And she is very knowledgeable. You have trained intensely with your favorite weapon, the energy bow. So we find her in a very comfortable place, but in season two, her naivete comes through in the emotional places that she’s exposed to. So I think Season 1 was more about her wondering about the physical world. [In] In Season 2, we see her really mastering the emotional challenges she has to overcome.

Omega has certainly come a long way from that little boy we met on Kamino who never left the planet and was in love with the wonders of the galaxy after escaping with Hunter, Wrecker, Tech and Echo. Don’t get me wrong, as Michelle Ang mentioned, there are still times when Star Wars: The Bad Lot Season 2 where Omega must learn to do. For example, at the extreme of Temporada 2, which was located in the center of the castle of Conde Dooku, Romar Adell de Hector, eliminating the god a trace of the Lord of the Sith, which was publicly established by the Separatists, seized his own people to strengthen his war chest.

So while Omega is more skilled with her energy bow these days and can do quite well on these missions, there are still plenty of ways to become an even more outstanding young lady. As for Omega’s relationship with a specific member of Clone Force 99, Michelle Ang teased that season 2 will see her character have an interesting dynamic with Tech, the team’s resident mastermind, saying:

I love you all. Each has its own dynamic. I think, especially with Season 2 and the stories you’re going to see, I really liked the relationship between Tech and Omega. It’s funny, because Tech is like the least fatherly and maybe their worldviews are the most divergent, but regardless, they manage to find a love and connection which is quite funny at times.

Long Star Wars: The Bad Lot In Season 1, Omega mostly had an interesting dynamic with Hunter and the Wrecker, so it’s nice to know that his relationship with Tech will play out. It’s as the saying goes: opposites attract, and that certainly applies to Tech and Omega. But as Michelle Ang said, she loves all of Omega’s relationships with members of Clone Force 99, so just because she’s having fun with Tech this season doesn’t mean her time with Hunter, Wrecker, and Omega will be curtailed. .

new episodes of Star Wars: The Bad Lot Disney+ debuts Wednesday (opens in a new tab). Before Episode 3 rolls around, be sure to read Dee Bradley Baker’s thoughts on Commander Cody’s return this season, as well as executive producers Jennifer Corbett and Brad Rau on how “hard” and “awesome” it was to star in The Emperor by Ian McDiarmid.
