SPOILERS are ahead for The menunow transmit with a Maximum HBO subscription .
The menu was one of best movies of 2022 and takes on new life this week with his is coming to HBO Max . The dark comedy horror starring Anya Taylor-Joy follows a group of exclusive guests who team up with a celebrity chef (played by Ralph Fiennes) for an out-of-control cooking experience. And the internet absolutely devours the crazy moments of The menu during their home viewings of the film.
Spectators took Chirping while watching The menu to make for an exquisite movie meme and are too good not to share. There’s course after course of these, so let’s get started:

Everyone loved to hate Nicholas Hoult’s Tyler The menu, who came to dinner absolutely obsessed with chef Slowik. There are too many great scenes where there is so much chaos and Tyler just enjoys the dish in front of him. Also, that moment later in the movie where all the men are running for their lives and Tyler is literally disappointed that women eat more is hilarious, as this tweet captures perfectly:

Captured 24 News Bulletin The menu during its premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival to soaring reactions before the film received applause from critics and audiences alike.
Another memorable element of the film that we won’t soon forget is the enthusiastic applause between the chef and his staff, as this Twitter user joked about another great scene from the film:

And then there were the tortillas. What happened? All guests were treated to a creepy laser-printed tortilla to a “Taco Tuesday” inspired course that got very dark and weird, very quickly. A fan was inspired by Euphoria Because of this:

Now what to say The menu end ? Anya Taylor-Joy’s character adamantly decides that she doesn’t want to be at the crash dinner gone wrong and fights against the whole plan. Alerting the chef with a moment’s applause, Margot orders a traditional cheeseburger and takes it before asking if she can bring it. She then leaves the restaurant just before it catches fire. As this hilarious tweet beautifully illustrates:

it’s nice to see The menu is taking on new life as tons of new viewers watch it live this week. The film’s theatrical release was somewhat overshadowed by the box office success of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever when it released in November, but back home, it seems like a lot of people are having a great time with the blockbuster.
Here’s another meme to chew on:
me making the menu (2022) is not only a dark comedy with a classy review, it’s the wrath of how the industry kills the art of making something for love and destroys an artist’s soul pic.twitter. com/rGG24EyTuZJanuary 6, 2023
