I wanted it to be a really fun surprise. Luckily we had two screenings and I was able to sit in a room and watch people really react for the first time without knowing what they were going to see. So I was a little bummed, but the film needs to be marketed, and it was fun to see that it could be re-released and accepted.
I understand where Gerard Johnstone is coming from. He is very close to the film.
