In an article by The mirror They explained how this story of the prince went viral. It is now publicly known that Prince Harry suffered frostbite, or “freeze” as he would call it, on his penis during a trip to the North Pole, writing that it was “borderline trauma” from the injury. He then wrote how he tried to remedy the problem with an Elizabeth Arden cream.
Prince Harry said he was surprised by the remedy’s recommendation, writing that his mother had used the product on her lips, and now a friend was telling him to put it on her baby. It appears to have been a rather embarrassing and painful situation for the prince, and soon after the story went viral, skincare brand Elizabeth Arden published an article about this cream, saying:

Although the prince is not explicitly mentioned, this product is said to be “extremely useful” during the winter. While it appears that Prince Harry may not be able to provide immediate pain relief, Elizabeth Arden noted that her product would likely work better if the user’s skin was moist before applying the cream.
It’s good to see this cheeky interaction about this silly story in general, especially considering how happily Prince Harry writes it in the book and talks about it (and laughs) while chat with stefan colbert .
This story, among many others, was one of the highlights of his critique reviews of Replacement . These reviews, good or bad, seemed a little muddled by the amount of information he’s revealed in this book, especially when it came to stories like the one time he had a frozen penis.
