Though 2023 started off as the first year in more than a decade without a new season of The walking dead Flagship series of the universe on the horizon, many new features have already been revealed for the sequel to the upcoming television projects of the franchise . On the one hand, we know the long-running spinoff fear of the living dead will keep track of this surprise season 7 as it concludes with its upcoming eighth season. Moreover, we know for sure that the long-awaited Limited series of Rick and Michonne it won’t be available until 2024. Fortunately, this week also brought new details and images of The Walking Dead: The Dead City , the next chapter of Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Lauren Cohan as Negan and Maggie. And one of these new photos features a specific place I’ve always wanted to see in this world: a coffee shop.
AMC has released several new teasers for the upcoming spinoff, in which Maggie and Negan travel to the heart of New York City, in part to track down a dangerous killer. This kind of living can definitely make you want to unwind by sitting down and opening a cold bottle, or perhaps drinking a bottle of wine or whisky. It seems that such an experience can be had for ghost cityThe characters of , as shown in the image below.
Is it just me or does it feel like it’s from a completely different franchise? This kind of purple and green lighting is completely alien to the general. Not dead aesthetic and I like it. Especially with Maggie’s leather clothing choices. I wonder what kind of drink he would choose, and I sure hope we find out. If anyone deserves to be slapped in this post-apocalypse, she’s the woman who must team up with the giant who killed her husband.
The Entire Walking Dead Timeline, Explained
In case anyone thought I was making assumptions on set based loosely on what was seen, Maggie is next to actor Charlie Solis, who is credited for the “Bartender” role, so unless that’s a rather surname nice, it’s a bar. (Hope Mo Collins’ Sarah finds this place before it’s all gone, and Mr. Bartender has some quality foam.)
To bring things back to the Negan who killed her husband, another of the new images shows him at knifepoint and seemingly ready to call it quits, though we know that’s not going to happen.
Many of the new shots are similar to the one seen below, with the protagonists on the streets of the city, with that strange greenish night glow. Like things are seen through a bottle of Heineken or something. The third actor featured below is Trey Santiago-Hudson, who will play Jano.
We conclude with yet another new character, the grim-faced Armstrong, played by Grey’s Anatomy veterinary Caio Carlo. He seems to be able to smell Negan’s shit all over the country, and hopefully one of the first things Negan’s character does is explain how he keeps his hat so fresh and clean.
