There’s a romantic movie that we all wish we could emulate in our real lives, with a few exceptions. Many people will soon have flashbacks to one of those celluloid courtship shows, like between the New movie releases 2023 is a 3D reprint of James Cameron Titanic. However, young lovers who want to be Jack and Rose know better than to book an iceberg-laden cruise for their first date.
This is a warning that someone should have given to the half couple that went viral ICT Tac when a woman realized that her wife was copying the tragic story of Blame it on our stars; to the point of having terminal bone cancer. If you thought the story was far-fetched, wait until author John Green reacts to hearing the full story:

Let’s take a moment here to really understand what happened. John Green’s bittersweet story of terminally ill teenagers who fall in love, nearly a decade after becoming one a box office phenomenon with Shailene Woodley Now he is credited with inspiring an emotional fraud. Blame it on our stars it may have been written to inspire tears, straight from the banal friendly personality that green is, but nope I am types of tears
Green’s own shocked reaction bears this out, as his shock at every turn of the story is palpable. The man looks like someone whose creation has been used for all the wrong reasons, and while it’s fun to see John Green being his charming jester at him, it’s still sad to see him come to that conclusion. If only someone had claimed that her name was Katherine, referring to Green’s novel An abundance of Katherinein exchange.
John Green shouldn’t take this too personally, because once again, Blame it on our stars it was a cultural touchstone of its time. the book was banned in a California school library system after its release, which probably made it even more popular. This is in addition to director Josh Boone’s film dominating social media the year it was released. Again, when a movie like this or Titanic go strong, some will take it as a personal romantic goal.
That still doesn’t justify this case of someone faking terminal cancer to build a relationship. Rather, it highlights some factors that may have led to these misleading actions. At least no one was hurt beyond a massive breach of trust, and the social media user who was hurt now has a much more interesting story to tell about John Green and his work.
