The 52-year-old A-lister was reportedly hit by his snowplow after a huge storm. Since then, Renner himself has kept the public updated on his condition, even sharing “progress goals” with his family. Now the Hollywood vet has provided a big update, and this is the second season of his hit show, Mayor of Kingtown.
The drama series (available to stream with a Paramount+ subscription) launched its second season last weekend. Jeremy Renner was injured on New Year’s Day when he was hit by his snow blower after getting out of the vehicle. The mayor of Reno later explained that at the time, Renner was trying to break in so that a relative could get out of his car. After the crash, the star was airlifted to the hospital and placed in intensive care. Initial reports said he was stable but in critical condition. Renner ultimately underwent two surgeries during his hospital stay.
