Prey it was one of the surprise hits of 2022 that many who watched it can’t help but rave about. The film serves as a prequel to the 1987 action classic. Predator played by Arnold Schwarzenegger. Prey Not only did it receive rave reviews from critics, it also delivered an incredible breakthrough performance from star Amber Midthunder. Now, the actress is teasing a potential sequel in the works on Hulu, and we couldn’t be more excited.
Midthunder recently attended the BAFTAs he spoke to The variety About the movie. He was asked if a sequel to Prey was produced by Hulu and the actress seemed very interested in the prospect. While Midthunder remained coy on official details, he did offer a promising look at the potential film. He revealed:
I don’t have an appointment for you. This isn’t an advertisement, but I’m not saying it isn’t. … We always talk about many things, and this is probably one of them.
This is certainly promising news. Predator The fans were very enthusiastic Prey’it is an addition to the previously established franchise and lore upon which the film was built. I’m sure another prequel film would delve into the origin of the titular creature and perhaps bring back some fan favorite characters from the original film. Fingers crossed. Midthunder certainly looks excited and ready to take part in another one Prey movie, because when asked if she wanted a sequel, she enthusiastically replied:
Of course! Yup! I’m ready! I loved that experience, I love that movie, and yeah, I’d love to, you know, see where we can take that.
Well, that’s definitely a good sign. Midthunder was amazing in the film and to see her again in such a badass role would have been a treat. For those who don’t know, Prey follows a Comanche warrior (played by Midthunder) who protects the tribe from an alien predator who preys on humans for sport. The predator in question is the title alien of the franchise. while the Predator the films have had a number of iterations on the franchise, Prey is certainly remarkable and seems to satisfy even the most hardcore fans.
The role certainly opened the door for Midthunder, who was nominated for a Critics Choice Award for her performance in the film. The actress will also star in a live-action. avatar the last airbender series for Netflix with Daniel Dae Kim. This is a highly anticipated project after a widely reviled live-action film also adapted from the popular anime series. Perhaps Midthunder is just what the show needs to be a hit with fans.
