Kylie Jenner finally revealed the name of her almost 1-year-old son over the weekend, presenting it hundreds of millions of social media followers in the air of the child. Her name is said to mean ‘Lion of God’ and the 25-year-old fashionista seemed to be leaning heavily into that theme with a fat cat look that was definitely turning heads. While attending the Schiaparelli couture show in Paris, KarJenner’s younger sister wore a black velvet gown by the designer, with a huge faux lion’s head stitched across the front of her. Suffice it to say that the fans had different opinions on the choice.
The reality star gave Big Leo Energy at Paris Fashion Week, sharing a series of photos of her Schiaparelli dress for instagram and in his stories:
It’s definitely a bold look, with the king of the jungle piece taking up space all over the star’s torso. Though the makeup mogul clarified in his post that the realistic-looking lion head was created with man-made materials, some Twitter users he still seemed to think that the chatterbox was capable of biting passers-by, and they said:
Kylie Jenner… this lion head is too photorealistic for my comfort
Several other people in her Instagram post commented that even though the lion’s head wasn’t real, her decision to wear something that looked so authentic still encouraged cruelty to the animal. These comments included:

Despite the criticisms, other social media followers recognized the dress as a work of art. It has been noted that the realism of the lion’s head speaks to the quality of Schiaparelli’s work, Tweeter that good art is always “buzzing” (pun by the writer):

There was so much discussion about whether or not it was irresponsible for Kylie Jenner to adorn a lion’s head all over her upper body, one commenter seemed to think everyone was missing the point, with @jumping_bean10 saying of the Instagram post:
Everyone says it’s 🔥🔥 but if they saw someone walking through Walmart wearing it, they’d laugh.
