But Zach Gilford of primordial + rebirth Criminal Minds: Evolution he found himself in this exact situation and remembered the funny way he got out of it.
They Friday night lights the alum actually worked with Taylor Swift early in her career, playing her love interest in the 2011 music video for “Ours,” and asked about the experience on the podcast Madam Banda (opens in a new tab), Zach Gilford recalled his lack of faith in his name and how he decided not to use it at all. In his own words:
I’m so disconnected. . . . They were doing all this behind the scenes footage in this music video. I was interviewed, and I’m really bad with names, and I didn’t know if his name was Taylor or Tyler. So I would just call her Mrs. Swift. I was like, ‘Mr. Fast. She is amazing. She is so kind. It’s great to work with her. And I was terrified. Since I knew it was 2004 or something, I’d be the first person to cancel if I mispronounced her name.
I did not go nice It’s been a long time coming, but I think we can all appreciate that Zach Gilford was able to find a creative way around the possibility of making such a huge mistake, and he did it in a way that was very respectful of the pop star.
