One year after the release of cursed totem, Koh-Lanta is back for a new season. On February 21, TF1 will kick off this 2023 edition called Koh-Lanta, the sacred fire.
This year, the show, filmed on the Caramoan Peninsula in the Philippines, welcomes 20 new adventurers (10 women and 10 men), ages 22 to 56, and adopts a new rule.
Like our colleagues from 20 minutesthis season is placed under the sign of strategy with the introduction of a talisman, made of volcanic stone, which contains the power of “sacred fire”.
An immunity talisman
Candidates will have a chance to earn this item from the first event of the season, then with every comfort game thereafter. Once in the possession of an adventurer, the talisman will allow them to gain immunity if their tribe goes to council, thus protecting themselves or saving a member of their team.
But unlike the usual immunity necklace, if the opposing tribe goes to the council, the holder of the talisman can still use his power by attending the council of his competitors to save the adventurer of his choice. .
After use, the person in possession of the talisman will be able to keep it for each council, until their team loses a comfort check. In this case, the talisman will be given to a member of the opposing tribe. An additional strategic element that could redistribute the cards throughout this new adventure where 100,000 euros are at stake for the winner.
