Phase four of the Marvel Cinematic Universe is officially over and it’s been amazing. The franchise has been greatly expanded by both small and big screen projects, introducing a bunch of new characters who will likely be major forces in the shared universe. This includes Jonathan Majors, which appeared in Loki like what’s left before landing a starring role as the opening villain of Phase Five anthill 3. And Majors recently revealed how different is Kang the Conqueror and He Who Truly Remains are for him as an actor.
The latest phase of the MCU has relied heavily on the multiverse concept, starting with the Disney+ series. Loki. Jonathan Majors played The One Who Remains in the season one finale , also known as the Kang variant. The latter character is set to become the next Thanos-level threat to the MCU, so fans can’t wait to see him in action during anthill 3. Majors recently spoke with slashfilm along the way, he singled out his two different Marvel characters, saying:
I’m so radical with my language on this because I say who stays is who stays. I don’t even call him Kang. It may or may not be a variant of Kang. I keep my mind open to the thought that Kang the Conqueror might be a variant of the One Who Remains. He has to be so clearheaded to keep it going. But no, there is no similarity between the two roles. I played Kang the Conqueror second… I didn’t even look at the One Who Remains outline regarding Kang. About.
Take. Even though he technically plays variations of the same man, it seems that Jonathan Majors tried to form two different characters anthill 3is Kang e LokiHe is the one who stays. He doesn’t even refer to them by the same name, which shows how determined he is to separate each entity. And the smart money says their performance will be very different as well.
Jonathan Majors’ comments about his MCU characters also raise an interesting philosophical question. In other words, who is the main character and which of them is a variant? While he is expected to get a lot more screen time as Kang the Conqueror Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantummaniait seems to be giving Loki character so much respect. And it should be fascinating to see if He Who Remains ends up returning, despite his apparent death at Sylvie’s hands.
Perhaps it should come as no surprise that Jonathan Majors takes his two Marvel characters so seriously. His performances speak for themselves, including acclaimed roles in HBO Max country of love , Gives 5 bloodAND Dedication. But all eyes are on what it will bring anthill 3as well as with Michael B. Jordan in belief III . And fortunately, those projects are almost there.
Since Kang is supposed to be a threat to the larger MCU, he’ll likely survive the events of Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantummania. Jonathan Majors villain will be the main antagonist of the following avengers movie, titled the Kan dynasty . And I can’t wait to see him battle Earth’s Mightiest Heroes.
Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantummania It will be released in theaters on February 17. In the meantime, check out the Movie release dates 2023 to plan your next movie experience.
