Beyonce

Beyoncé, formerly of Destiny’s Child, whose full name is Beyoncé Knowles, has enjoyed solo success for many years. So much so that the American magazine Rolling Stone crowned “Queen B” in July 2022 as the “best world artist” of the last decade. The singer released Renaissance, her seventh solo album, in 2022. It follows her latest project, Lemonade, released in 2016. At the beginning of July 2022, the American singer shared the cover of this album, in which she poses almost naked sitting on a luminous horse. In the process, Beyoncé delivered a house-sounding first single, Break My Soul, which notably samples Robin S’s hit Show Me Love. The album generated several controversies. After allegations of theft, a sample of Kelis’s Milkshake track was removed from the Energy track. Beyoncé also re-recorded lyrics for her song Heated due to a term that was considered derisive. But this new album earned her the lead in Grammy nominations, being present in nine categories ahead of the ceremony organized in the United States on February 5, 2023. “Queen” Beyoncé also joins her husband, rapper Jay -Z (real name Shawn Corey Carter), as the most nominated artist of all time, with 88 nominations. She announced on February 1, 2023 a world tour with two dates in France, on May 26, 2023 at the Stade de France and on June 11 at the Orange Vélodrome in Marseille.
