Kate Middleton takes her independence. The Princess of Wales launched her own Instagram account on Thursday. But it is not about telling her life here, the Princess of Wales dedicates this story to a cause that is very dear to her, that of the development of young children.
Kate Middleton intends, through The Royal Foundation Center for Early Childhood, to underline the importance that must be given to very young children “from pregnancy to five years old”, an age that “shapes the rest of our lives”.
Society, laments the princess, does not place enough emphasis on this fundamental period of life, and neglects the first years. In one of the videos posted on the account, the princess is seen talking to kindergarten children about her stuffed animal.
The official account of “Shapping us” currently has 36,000 subscribers. The Princess of Wales is not the only Instagram account. Queen Consort Camilla hosts a book club there, called “the royal reading room”.
