It’s almost time to head back to the OBX with our favorite castaways! With Season 3 of external banks Soon, the first full trailer was finally released for the hit Netflix series, and it teases some big unexpected character returns, great action, and the Pogues going on a road trip to El Dorado.
After the shocking Season 2 finale, there was still a lot to come and with Season 3 slated for TV show 2023 for Feb. 23, we’ll finally see what happens next with the Pogues. I’d say based on this trailer, we’re on an extremely perilous journey like the launch external banks embarks on what appears to be his greatest adventure yet.
Big characters revealed in The Outer Banks season 3 trailer
Digging into the trailer a little bit, we find that a major character returns, and then there was a big reveal from a character that we all thought was dead.
The big reveal in this trailer is that John B.’s father, Big John, isn’t actually dead. He’s gone into hiding and the trailer shows the reunion of the father and son duo played by Charles Halford and Chase Stokes respectively. John B. mentions in the video that treasure has always been an outlet for him and father to him, well now it looks like they will be on this treasure hunt together.
The other big reveal came with the reveal that Sarah Cameron’s father Ward is still trying to bring the Pogues down. However, the trailer also teased an unlikely father-daughter deal, which will be interesting to see how that plays out. So I think it’s fair to say that with Ward 100% in the picture, the season will be more dangerous and action-packed because of that.
The Outer Banks trailer shows some great action
Like the previous two seasons, the trailer for the third season shows a lot of action and epic settings. Whereas the Pogues were stranded on a deserted island when we left, and ever since teaser footage we know they are leaving the island a new, more dangerous adventure is inevitable. I guess because of all of this, we’re in for some epic sequences as the young castaways return to the Outer Banks and seemingly make their way to El Dorado.
From a plane appearing over the island to watching Pope and JJ slide down an elevator shaft, motorcycle stunts, thrilling (and terrifying) chases through the jungle, and I imagine much, much more, it’s going to be action. adventure full of death challenges. It’s because if there’s anything I know External Banks: they know how to up the ante and push these characters to their limits through intense action and dangerous adventure.
The Pogues are headed for El Dorado
That’s right, this season the treasure hunt is all about finding the lost city of El Dorado. If you thought gold and a giant gold cross wasn’t enough, well, it wasn’t either. OBX extension team, because this season they will embark on a journey greater than ever.
In the voiceover, John B. says he’s starting to wonder if the treasure was something to fight for or just a trap. It feels like a bit of both, as the trailer shows Kiara looking at who I guess the big bad is, as she tells her about El Dorado and if any of her friends know anything about it.
Although there are still a lot of them questions about season 3 of external banks , this new trailer has given us a fresh look at the adventure that awaits the Pogues. And I think I can safely say that it will be bigger and better than its first two missions.
