A report surfaced claiming that Spears’ friends and family were planning to stage a surgery, but it was abruptly canceled at the last minute after she found out about the plan. They were reportedly concerned about some of the singer’s substance abuse and mental health issues and wanted her to seek help. Her husband Sam Asghari was rumored to be involved in the scheme, but last night he contacted the star Trek first as if everything was normal.
Back when Britney Spears was posting an angry rebuttal on Instagram, saying the allegations made her “tummy ache,” Asghari was walking the red carpet for the premiere of Star Trek: Picard. There’s a lot of stuff here; So, let’s go back and start from the beginning. Yesterday, TMZ ran a story alleging that Asghari, her manager, and other neighbors rented a house and hired an interventionist to try to pressure her into treatment. The plan was reportedly for her to stay in the rented house for a few months to receive treatment for addiction and mental health issues. But they allegedly informed him of the plan and called it off. the gossip magazine ran a similar story with additional quotes from alleged whistleblowers and said Spears met with a doctor Wednesday after the procedure was canceled.

So considering everything that happened yesterday, some fans were a little surprised to see Sam Asghari walk the red carpet at the star Trek event. He seemed in a good mood, at least from what was posted on social media, and the various messages from him completely ignored the rumors. However, there are obviously many interpretations to this. Britney Spears is often the subject of rumours, and I imagine if she canceled her plans every time this happened, she would have a hard time doing anything.
However, it’s worth noting that the seriousness of the allegations here is more serious than typical fights with her family or wild rumors about her living situation. TMZ doubled down on this morning, even after Spears’ denials, and posted numerous quotes from various anonymous sources explaining how concerned they are and how they wish the procedure had taken place.
