Queen Consort Camilla tested positive for Covid-19 on Monday after initially showing symptoms of a cold, Buckingham Palace said in a statement.
“After suffering symptoms of a cold, Her Majesty The Queen Consort has tested positive for the Covid virus,” the statement read.
She had already been sick a year ago.
“It is with a heavy heart that she is forced to cancel her public engagements for the week. She expresses her sincerest apologies to those who were planning to attend, ”adds the text.
The wife of King Carlos III had already tested positive for Covid-19 a year ago, on February 14, 2022. Camilla, 75, is triple vaccinated, according to the British press, like her husband.
