The first trailer of the flash has arrived, and with it have come the first images of actress Sasha Calle as Supergirl. The short Supergirl scenes left a strong impression on fans, and now that the footage is out, Calle is very excited. The actress took to social media with a massive backlash when people finally saw her dressed as Kara.
Supergirl has smashed, pummeled and robbed everywhere the flash trailer, and delivered an already thrilling film that expected so much more. However, few netizens were as enthusiastic as Sasha Calle, who sent a peek full of energy and excitement plus a video of her watching her scene from the trailer:
IF SUPERGIRL HAS TAUGHT ME ANYTHING, IT’S HOPE. EVERYTHING IS POSSIBLE. DON’T LET ANYONE TELL YOU DIFFERENT! I LOVE!!!!!! pic.twitter.com/YEunVB9RMWFebruary 13, 2023
Sasha Calle seems thrilled that the world is finally seeing her Supergirl in action, and I totally get it. Calle reportedly beat out 400 other actresses for the role of her and she will be the first Latina actress to play Kara. She has every right to be excited about the role, especially as badass she was the flashtrailer of .
Hopefully, we’ll get our fair share of scenes with Sasha Calle as Supergirl, though it’s worth noting that she’s not the lead in this film. However, it appears that she may play a role in taking down General Zod from Michael Shannon, who has returned from Man of Steel no split collar
It looks like Kara will have to take on Superman’s job to bring him down, which might be easier said than done given how well prepared Zod seems for an invasion. Luckily, there appear to be plenty of other heroes to help out, and even multiple versions of the same hero.
For all the trailer buzz and footage of Sasha Calle as Supergirl and Michael Keaton in action as Batman, there seems to be more to see. the flash even as we approach the dawn of a DC movie overhaul. James Gunn, who had to make tough decisions about casting a new Superman and such, also has a very high opinion of the film. Could the positive praise surrounding Calle’s debut as Supergirl further entice would-be moviegoers to head to the theaters to see this film?
That’s the big question surrounding it the flash, as there’s definitely an online community reminding excited fans that Ezra Miller is still attached as the film’s lead. Miller has garnered all kinds of attention in recent years for various legal troubles, violent incidents, and general bizarre behavior. This has certainly led to a backlash against their support and the film, though it remains to be seen how many people will jump on the feature film when opening weekend finally rolls around.
take care of the flash in theaters when it arrives on Friday, June 16. With all the confirmed rumors and cameos from previous DC projects, now might be a good time to check out our guide to watching DC movies and revisiting some of the superhero franchise’s classic films.
