Sweet spoilers ahead for Scream VI.
The horror franchise builds on long-running franchises and that hasn’t changed in recent years. One of the most awaited upcoming horror movie this year it was cry VI, which has finally hit theaters. The new slasher includes the the return of hayden panetteire as Kirby Reed, further showing how directors Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett take a look at the history of the franchise. The pair of cry VI the directors have confirmed that it contains another easter egg from another character, so on with the theories.
In addition to working on his pair of Scream film, it seems that the filmmakers of Radio Silence are thinking two steps forward. Another A+ Easter egg included from the start cry VI is that Jenna Ortega’s Tara Carpenter intends to commit Delta Lambda Zeta while studying at Blackmore University. It is the same fraternity as scream 2and there are two survivors from this film that we haven’t seen since its release in 1997. Namely, Sister Lois and Sister Murphy, played by Rebecca Gayheart and Portia de Rossi, respectively.
Since there are countless Easter eggs cry VI, there are many other possibilities for this ongoing mystery. Only time will tell how this turns out. But the sky’s the limit, as Tyler Gillett also told me:
I mean, we brought Billy back as a hallucination, so anything is possible.
