At this point if you know me you know I like it Avatar the last airbender. I have I recommend it to almost everyone. I met him and if for some reason you haven’t seen him yet, you’re really not alive because this show is the best animated show ever, at least in my opinion.
But, The Legend of Korra a sequel show which came out a few years after the original ended, is also very, very good, and you want to know what they have in common? Great benders, and to be honest they are often way better than dudes and dammit. frightening. Sure, it could be a small biased because they are I’m a woman and I’ve come to love these characters, but in honor of Women’s History Month, I’m sharing my favorite girls from the avatar the last airbender Universe.
Korra (The Legend of Korra)
I mean, we had to start with her, right? the show of her is literally called the legend of the Koran . How could it not be on this list?
Korra isn’t the strongest Avatar ever, but to be honest, that’s because she was very young when she learned. If you think about it, most of the younger Avatars we’ve monitored, like Korra and Aang, have gone through years of intensive training, even more with Aang, because he had to learn everything so much faster than Korra. Older avatars are likely to be much stronger, as they have had much more time to hone their skills.
But Korra is still excellent party. From the beginning of the series, we see how he has perfected not only waterbending (from his native tribe), but firebending and earthbending as well. The airbending was the only one that gave him problems, and even then he ended up overwhelming him in the future. Really, what a bastard.
Katara (The Last Airbender)
You know, it’s funny, when I was younger, I really didn’t like Katara because she was so mean. to Zuko when he started to change , but as I got older, I began to realize that his anger was entirely justified. And I also noticed that as she got older, Katara went crazy. frightening.
Though she began the series as a novice, barely able to hold a trickle of water in the air, she ended the series not only as an accomplished waterbender and healer, but also as a Master of Blood. It’s rare that anyone can use this ability, which is why Hama, the person she learned it from, kept it hidden for so long and Katara wouldn’t even use it. It’s like the Imperius curse they Harry Potter franchise – takes control of someone’s body, except this time, from their movements and not from their mind.
But even when she doesn’t use the bloodbending, she can still defend herself with the waterbending. she won Azula in a one-on-one fight. Do you know how many people can face Azula? Not very much. But we will come back to this later. Put some respect in Katara’s name.
Toph (The Last Airbender)
Oh Rat. The girl he absolutely loved. She was the best character in the whole show, actually. I could rave about it for hours.
Toph is also shameless. A gruff and tough young woman passionate about fighting and controlling the Earth, but protected by her wealthy family, she ends up exploring the world with Aang and her gang in Avatar: The Last Airbender Season 2.
She’s not only skilled because she can bend blind, which is super talented, but because she’s single-handedly created a whole new version of bending: metal bending.
Literally just because he wanted to escape from a metal box, he was able to separate the rocks that were in the metal and escape. He started a whole movement. Legendary.
Jinora (Legend of Korra)
dude, seriously Jinora is not talked about enough . She is young. So young. She is Aang’s eldest granddaughter The Legend of Korra but she is literally there the youngest Airbender.
True, younger than Aang.
While Aang is obviously more powerful in the sense that he was the avatar and had to do an incredible amount of training, Jinora is a powerful airbender and you can clearly see that in the way she uses her powers in the series. I would legitimately watch a series with her in the future. She is such an interesting character.
Ming Hua (The Legend of Korra)
He bent the water without arms. without arms
Although Ming-Hua was a villain of The Legend of Korra I can’t deny that it’s not powerful. She was born without arms, but she overcame adversity and learned to be literally one of the most powerful waterbenders of Korra’s time, wreaking havoc. She has turned water into tentacles to act as weapons.
While she didn’t end up wearing it forever, it’s still an amazing feat that I have to salute.
Azula (The Last Airbender)
The thing about Azula is that I feel really bad for her. I learned a lot about her thanks to avatar the last airbender comics and stuff, and to be honest, she’s just a victim of pressure from her family and her own needs acute therapy. She can’t get over my love for Zuko or his uncle, Iroh, but I have to say… she is Very more powerful of your brother.
NO more than uncle Iroh, but he could have if he had the chance. He uses his rage to fuel his bending abilities, creating some of the fiercest flames imaginable and felling his enemies with pinpoint accuracy. He was incredibly talented, until it was his undoing.
Kuvira (The Legend of Korra)
Other legend of korra The character I really like is Kuvira. Although she was, again, another villain in the series, she was very tough and a very skilled bender. In the show, she is one of the strongest metal benders alive and she can use that to her advantage.
She, along with her subordinates, supports the crumbling Earth Kingdom and is one of Korra’s fiercest adversaries. Kuvira is cold and calculating, which makes her all the more powerful: being a powerful teacher is just icing on the cake. She he ended up seeking redemption afterward in the franchise, but still, as a villain, she’s just perfect.
Kyoshi (The Last Airbender/The Legend of Korra)
I mean, we had to include Kyoshi here.
Avatar Kyoshi is often considered one of the most violent Avatars in the world. avatar the last airbender AND The Legend of Korra but that doesn’t mean he wasn’t strong. Kyoshi used his strength (and his incredible size) to his advantage and was able to defeat his enemies very easily. Unsurprisingly, there is a whole group of female warriors called the Kyoshi Warriors named after her.
To be honest, I’d be up for a Kyoshi themed movie and would love to see her bend more with the few parts we have. she is so bad .
avatar the last airbender AND the legend of the Koran Have many beautiful characters i love it, but for me i will love these girls more and more. Not only are they skilled in every possible way, but they take it to another level. I need to see you all again as soon as possible.
