As well as David Giuntoli and Elizabeth Tulloch who play romantic characters in the popular NBC series Grimmthe actors have a real-life romance, marrying in 2016 and having a daughter in 2019. This daughter is also in the unique position of being raised by parents who have DC Comics-related credits behind them, like this one who has done Giuntoli. she has voiced Batman in two animated films and Tulloch currently stars as Lois Lane superman and laws (although I hesitated at first). Luckily for the actors, their son has fallen in love with this corner of pop culture, and Giuntoli spoke to Gossipify about what it’s like to raise an ever-growing DC fan.
Following his first release as DC Comics’ Caped Crusader in 2021 Batman: Soul of the DragonDavid Giuntoli is back for Batman: the scourge that has come to Gotham, a story set in the 1920s that follows decades after Bruce Wayne returns to Gotham City and battles Lovecraft-inspired supernatural threats. During, superman and laws is midway through its third season on The CW, though Elizabeth Tulloch has played Lois Lane opposite Tyler Hoechlin’s Superman since 2018’s “Elseworlds” crossover. During my chat with Giuntoli about her experience in The fate that befell GothamI asked him what he thought of his wife’s DC efforts and he had the following to say:
Look, I’m sorry I tricked that woman into marrying me. She’s really talented in a way that I’m not. I can give a really good performance, she can show up and give a good performance. I think it takes talent and ease, and she has it. I love the universe you’ve created, I’ve seen almost every episode. I will direct some next year, as long as they are chosen. I’m a huge fan and it’s exciting to have this little DC house. And our little girl, who’s only 4, but she knows that her mom plays Lois Lane and that her dad sometimes plays Batman, and now every time we go to this little bookstore together near our home in Los Angeles, she goes to buy used comics. her section and start downloading all that stuff, trying to find mom, trying to find dad. So even though I wasn’t a huge fan of the comics, and neither was my wife, we gave birth to a different creature, and she’s very interested. I just have to rip out the pages that are intensely graphically violent beforehand. And she loves it, she’s absolutely unharmed.
David Giuntloi and Elizabeth Tulloch’s daughter may not be old enough to watch Batman: the scourge that has come to Gotham OR superman and laws still, but it’s nice to know he’s already a DC fan. She’s quite happy knowing that her father is Batman and her mother is Lois Lane, and that’s already set her on the road to reading DC comics, which Giuntoli is just fine with, though naturally. Nothing. Age appropriate. Assuming your interest in comics isn’t just a passing phase, I’d like to know what your favorite DC stories were when you were growing up, and also if you’ve become a Marvel fan.

Season 3 also featured Lois’ devastating turn of Elizabeth Tulloch discovering she has breast cancer and, at the end of “In Cold Blood,” she parts her for her first chemotherapy session.
