Jim Belushi and Dan Aykroyd have something important in common: the Blues Brothers. Aykroyd first appeared as Elwood in Saturday night live in 1976, and Belushi played with Aykroyd as Zee for over 25 years. They [Dan Aykroyd] It got me involved, it got me involved because when I took the farm I didn’t know what to grow, right? I have 90 acres, 93 acres. She didn’t want to raise cattle because she didn’t know how to do it. And she says, ‘Jimmy, cannabis is legal in Oregon. Why don’t you grow cannabis? I have a perfect man for you, Captain Jack. Captain Jack was our pot dealer on SNL. He has the best skunk, stinky and cheesy strains. He was so creative. And I was like, ‘Okay. Then I met Captain Jack, and that’s where we started growing.

Judy [Belushi] and he, you know, owns the intellectual property of the Blues Brothers, and I had to get permission to use it, and I thought it was good. I mean, cannabis is evil, you know, cannabis is the brother of music and the soul and spirit of the gospel. And it is also a mission of God, the healing properties. So I say to myself, Blues Brothers is music, mischief, a mission from God. It’s like a perfect brand for cannabis, you know?
