Chicago Mediterranean is back with an action-packed premiere that was worth it the deadly finale of the seventh season and all the main characters survived the fire. (Jo wasn’t that lucky.) That said, the medical drama still greeted two characters before the hour was up: Dr. Dylan Scott decided he had to leave Chicago after Jo’s death, and Dr. Pamela Blake was moved to. another rehabilitation hospital after Crockett’s decision put his medical career on hold. in danger. It looks like this will be part of a major story for Crockett, whose future is otherwise a blank slate of sorts following the events of the premiere. Joining Transplant and working with Pamela (and her complicated relationship with her daughter) was her biggest story at the end of Season 7 (which you can stream with a peacock subscription ), and it looks like she’ll make a name for herself instead of working with Pamela right at the start of Season 8.
