Anyone who is a fan of John Stamos knows that the actor is a huge fan of all things Disney. He often visits parks, works hard at various Disney shows and even owns an elephant from the Dumbo attraction, so who wouldn’t do it if they had the chance? The Disney + star great hat he’s such a huge Disney fan that he says Walt was going to be his last dinner companion and once had dinner with him, but he didn’t know.
Juan Stamos said yahoo in a recent interview, her dream guest would be Walt Disney, but she later revealed the moment she approached that dream while having dinner with Tom Hanks. Apparently Stamos and Hanks dined together a few years ago when Hanks was in the thick of production Save Mr. Banks, where he played Walt. Hanks didn’t say a word about what he was working on, though Stamos admitted that he probably should have understood it because of the mustache. Stamos explained …

the 2013 film Save Mr. Banks saw Tom Hanks play Walt Disney himself in a dramatized story of the making of the iconic film Mary Poppins. It is also one of the few films to have been shot at Disneyland. Hanks is fantastic in the role and does a great job bringing out Walt’s look, so much so that it’s a little surprising that Stamos didn’t make the connection. This Walt pencil mustache is quite iconic.
Apparently, the day after the couple’s dinner, filming took place at Disneyland. In the film, Walt tries to use the park to win over PL Travers, played by Emma Thompson, but it doesn’t work. Stamos says he gave Hanks a hard time for not telling him he was playing Walt when they met the night before.
Honestly, if I had the chance to dine with Walt Disney or Tom Hanks, I’d have to think about it. The two would almost certainly make excellent companions with a lot of interesting things to talk about during the meal. Though having dinner with another big Disney fan like John Stamos would probably also be a lot of fun. We can discuss the Disney World campaign to name a drink after this.
Someone might be following in Tom Hanks’ footsteps, because we know Disney is working on a film about making Disneyland, which means someone will be playing Walt Disney on screen. Once that happens, maybe John Stamos can invite him and Tom Hanks out to dinner to talk about the role of Walt Disney. He is the closest you will get.
