Somehow, it’s still honestly hard to believe Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck are finally getting married. Two stars, who were engaged decades ago before breaking up in 2004, got married in a ceremony in Las Vegas in July. However, JLo and Affleck celebrated their real extravagant wedding in the latter complex in Georgia in August, where a host of celebrities gathered to celebrate their union. After the event, various attendees shared details about the experience and now the officiant who oversaw the process reflects on the special occasion.
Jay Shetty had the honor of officiating Benifer’s second wedding ceremony and it looks like he will remember this special day for years to come. The podcaster and former monk dropped his thoughts on the important occasion as he spoke with Eastern time . Discussing her important role in marriage, Shetty said:
I can tell you it’s an honor. It was absolutely beautiful. And I’ll let you share more. But it was really special, it’s good to celebrate love.
A wedding is an exciting day no matter which couple makes the journey down the aisle, but it’s hard to deny that there’s an extra layer of anticipation in this case. Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez went on a long road trip, so on their big day there had to be some level of satisfaction not only from them, but from them as well. In Jay Shetty’s case, he has a previous connection with Lopez, having married four partners while promoting his latest romantic comedy of hers. marry me. Shetty went on to talk about her personal relationship with the pop icon:
I met Jennifer a few years ago. She was absolutely phenomenal. We cooperated several times and I met Ben in the process, which [was] Wonderful.
Since then, other close friends of the couple have weighed on aspects of the marriage. Chief among them was director Kevin Smith, who recently worked with her boyfriend Employees III. Smith reversed his colleague’s speech which he describes as “awesome”. Singer Marc Cohen was also present. and then explained that JLo herself called him and asked him if he would surprise the guests with a performance.
However, there are a number of important people who were not present. Ben Affleck’s brother Casey was not present and was eventually reported missing due to family responsibilities at home in California. However, this it didn’t stop Casey from hosting JLo the family with a nice social media post. The good friend of the singer, Leah Remini was also absent , even if she had a good reason not to see it. Remini’s daughter was preparing to go to college and the actress wanted to spend some time with her before leaving.
But all the (apologies) absences aside, many of the guests seem to have had a great time at Bennifer’s wedding. Jay Shetty and others will forever live an experience that only a select few could have participated in. And Shetty, in particular, will still be able to say that she married Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez (for the second time).
