Detection of three viruses
Consequently, “the 4,732 patients treated in these hospital centers since January 1, 2006 were individually informed by the establishments concerned and invited to benefit from specific controls to detect these three viruses.”
The year 2006 corresponds to the publication by the Ministry of Health of official recommendations on hygiene and prevention of infections linked to dental care.
A similar breakdown last May in Lyon
“Of course, these exams are fully covered for patients who have received this reminder letter and all necessary practical information,” specifies the ARS press release.
The toll-free number 0800 732 332 has also been enabled “to answer questions from patients and health professionals.”
Last May, 5,000 patients treated between May and December 2022 received a similar alert from the Hospices Civils de Lyon (HCL).
